We invite everyone to enter the Meeting room before 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. Doors close at 9:05 and 10:35 to deepen the silence and allow Meeting to settle so children and all experience a gathered time of silence together. When children exit at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m., attenders waiting in the foyer will be invited to enter the Meeting. Parents leaving with children will gather at the door and wait to reenter together to support the Meeting silence.

On every third Sunday of the month, at the rise of both the 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship sessions, we offer Quaker Q & A. At these informal sessions, Friends will be available to share their own understanding and experience of Quakerism, and to answer any questions you might have about the ways of Friends.​

Winter Solstice Gathering:

Earth Care Witness is sponsoring the annual Winter Solstice Gathering with community dances led by Betsy Blair.  We meet on the longest night of the year to dance together in the Light and then to enjoy fellowship, hot drinks and cookies. Appropriate for ages 9 and up.  If you need childcare during the event, please email dfmyouthcoordinator@gmail.com.

Christmas Eve:

4 pm Worship - A shorter child-centered intergenerational worship service and then fellowship. 

6 pm Fellowship - Come gather for some treats, fellowship, and carols. 

7 pm Worship - Candlelight Meeting. Children, extended family, and friends are all welcome to attend.

Recurring Meetings For Fellowship

Please check the Events Calendar below to confirm times and locations for each of these groups, as they sometimes shift.

Caregivers Support Group (via Zoom): 1st Sundays, 3:30 p.m.

​

Monthly Potluck: 2nd Sundays around noon (at rise of 10:30-11:30 worship)

Busy Hands (fellowship and handiwork): Every Monday, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

​

Friendly Bible Study (via Zoom): 1st & 3rd Thursdays, 4:00-5:30 p.m.

Monthly Education Forum (in-person): (Quakerism 101, Session 1 “Do Quakers Believe in God?” Two opportunities are being offered: the first was on Sunday, Dec. 7, from 4-6 pm. The second opportunity is 6-8:30 pm on Monday, January 5. We will have a meal together, starting at 6 pm, and then start the program at 6:30. Final Chapter (discussion & support around aging) in person: (Thursday, Dec. 11, 12:30-2:30 p.m.)
